Kolbenet Testimonial
By Father Francis G. McCloskey
Less than 2 years from this writing I started shopping around for a host server for the www.ScriptureWall.com [aka OhSaratoga.com] website. I cannot remember exactly how and where Kolbenet came to my attention as a possible provider but I'm thankful I found a site with biblical marturion. An up-to-date Catholic should recognize the name Kolbe as belonging to the great martyr-saint of Auschwitz Father Maximilian Kolbe. The very name bespeaks honesty, integrity, and. . . Catholicity.
Still I asked the hard questions about bandwith capacity, price and service from someone whom I have come to realize is a devoted servant of the Immaculata, Rich Kosiba. Kolbenet is so Catholic I think the angels guide the bits and bytes in and out of the site and I somehow in my mind's eye see St. Maximilian overseeing the entire project. It was he who taught the Church to use media as a tool of evangelization while not giving the modern electronic media too much space in one's life, i.e. the space and time which belongs to the Lord for the development of the Spiritual Life.
Rich has been right there for any question or difficulty connected with service. And I've seen him help others get their sites designed and up and running and have witnessed their satisfaction.
If you have or hope soon to have a Catholic website -- or even if not Catholic -- if you give KolbeNet a shot at serving you, you will be glad you did. Contact me at FrFrancis@OhSaratoga.com if I can assist you in your discernment. St. Maximilian, pray for us.
